In remote areas, construction sites, or industrial facilities, securing a safe and reliable freshwater supply is often a major challenge. Traditional water treatment projects are frequently plagued by long civil construction periods, high installation costs, and complex on-site work.
Today, we present the solution — the fastRO-BWC Brackish Water Desalination System by Qiantong Environmental Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. This is a "rapid-build" containerized system designed to eliminate long waiting times and save you 50% of your construction schedule!

The fastRO-BWC is a highly integrated brackish water desalination system where most components are pre-installed inside a single standard shipping container before delivery.
Standard Version: Equipped with well-known Chinese brands such as CNP/NYP pumps, Vontron/Suro RO membranes, and Seko/Lucenline instruments for optimal cost-effectiveness.
BWC-H Version: Features international premium brands such as Grundfos/Desmi pumps, Toray/Hydranautics RO membranes, and GF instruments for maximum reliability.
Production Capacity: Freshwater output ranges from 120 to 1,000 m³/day (5,000 – 41,000 L/h), catering to various water demand scales.

Based on a rough estimate for a 1,000 m³/day production capacity, the advantages of the containerized design over traditional methods are crystal clear:
Significantly Lower Capital Expenditure (Capex): Equipment installation costs are only a fraction of traditional methods, and civil construction costs are drastically reduced. The total Capex is only about 80% of traditional methods.
Drastically Shorter Construction Period (Weeks): While traditional methods require nearly 27 weeks from civil works to commissioning, the fastRO BWC takes only about 14 weeks — truly achieving "rapid construction, rapid production."
Stable & Reliable: Backed by 30 years of industry experience with over 200 desalination projects delivered worldwide.
Fast Installation & Commissioning: Most installation work is completed at the factory; on-site work only requires utility hookups.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: Utilizes Sch10 SS316 high-pressure piping and fittings, combined with heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings for a longer lifespan.
Low Energy Consumption: Equipped with high-efficiency high-pressure pumps, IE3 motors, and low-energy RO membranes for lower operating costs.
Easy Operation: Features a user-friendly touchscreen control interface and supports remote operation for unattended operation.
Fast Recovery Feature: In the event of a failure, standard parts can be used to quickly restore the entire system.
High Customizability: Pre-treatment and post-treatment can be added, capacity customized, and sensors installed or upgraded according to customer needs.
Comprehensive Service: Full lifecycle services including water intake recommendations, installation supervision, commissioning, training, and troubleshooting.
Whether in harsh natural environments or complex industrial sites, the fastRO-BWC performs with ease:
Temporary/permanent water supply for construction sites and remote areas
Industrial water treatment
Agricultural development irrigation and aquaculture
High-quality water supply for hotels and resorts
Emergency water supply for mobile water trucks
Feed Water Requirements: TDS 2,000-5,000 mg/L, Turbidity <5 NTU. If the feed turbidity is below 0.5 NTU, the system can automatically bypass the sand filter for further energy savings.
Product Water Standards: Product TDS <500 mg/L, Turbidity <0.2 NTU. If the brackish water does not contain harmful pollutants such as nitrates or fluoride, the produced drinking water fully complies with the World Health Organization (WHO) Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality, 4th Edition (2012).
Process Flow: Raw water is pressurized by the intake pump → Sand filter (optional) → High-pressure pump → RO membrane desalination → Product water to the clean water tank. Concentrate is discharged after pressure relief. The system is equipped with a CIP (Clean-In-Place) unit for easy maintenance.

Note: The above data is based on design feed water (4,000 ppm, 20°C brackish water).
