Protect the Yangtze Finless Porpoise??

QT Enviro-Tech (Suzhou), CIIT, and QT Desalination jointly launched a public welfare campaign under the theme “QT Guards Clear Waters, United to Protect the Porpoise.” The initiative focused on protecting the endangered Yangtze finless porpoise (~1249 left), and preserving the habitat of migratory species such as the Siberian crane.

Highlights:

Fish Release: Thousands of native fish fry were released into Poyang Lake to support the aquatic food chain and promote biodiversity.

Wildlife Patrol: Volunteers observed porpoises and migratory birds, contributing to ecological monitoring.

Awareness & Donations: Employees pledged their support and helped raise funds for porpoise protection and habitat restoration.

Poyang Lake, home to ~492 finless porpoises, plays a critical role in safeguarding freshwater species.
